New Products Rumored for 2020 by Apple

Every year, more and more new products hit the market for us to enjoy. Every year, it seems those products get better and better as well. Some of the biggest companies in the world wow us with their innovative capabilities regularly, with the occasional flop here and there. This year, Apple is rumored to release at least 5 new products for consumers like you and me to try out. 

Iphone SE 2

Everyone who has a cellphone is well aware of the Apple iPhone. They should also be aware of the price tags associated with most of them. Apple recognizes the fact that their phones are quite expensive. 

In order to combat their products being unaffordable, Apple has the SE line of phones. They generally are smaller, with some of the features of the other phones missing, such as the three cameras on the back and the OLED display. 

This year the next "affordable" iPhone released will be the iPhone SE 2, rumored to come out in September. One of the other "affordable" iPhones, is the iPhone XR. It has been the leading smartphone around the world for every single quarter since the 4th quarter of 2018.

The SE 2 may or may not be the replacement for the iPhone XR on the market, but many think both will be sold, as the SE 2 might be more like the replacement for the iPhone 8. 

iPad Pro (2nd Gen)

The newest member, or members, of the iPad family are rumored to be released in April of this year. They are expected to be sleek, with designs reminiscent of the iPhone 4 combined with newer models.

They have no buttons on the front, along with a single power button and the normal volume buttons that we have become so accustomed to. The cameras will be the cluster of 3 that we saw released in 2019. They should have an array of new abilities that the phones do not have as well. 

MacBook Pro 16-inch 

The MacBook Pro has established itself as the go-to laptop on the market, for those who can afford it. The amount of power, memory, and security on them is fantastic, and Apple will continue this trend with the release of the newest MacBook Pro, this year. 

The new design comes with a handful of improvements over the last model. It is rumored to have a mini-LED display. This allows the computers to have a smaller display than the previous models, which in turn makes them lighter as well.

While there probably won't be a significant change in weight, some improvement is better than none. The MacBook pro is supposed to have a battery that is either the same size, or slightly larger than the last model, so the mini-LED displays helping the laptop lose weight, is more impactful than many might assume. 

iPhone 12

It's a new year, so we can expect to see a new iPhone on the market. Last year we saw the release of the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. They featured the new camera setup, and a slew of new features for Apple users to enjoy. 

This year, we can expect to see the newest iPhones around September. They are rumored to be called the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. 

The final design has not been released, as Apple likes their privacy, but there are plenty of rumors flying around. Some concept designers think the new phone will have flat, metallic edges, like the iPhone 4. Others believe Apple will get rid of the controversial "notch" at the top of the screen, and still others believe Apple will add a 4th camera to the back side. Since these are just rumors, we will have to wait and see! 

Headphones

If you have heard the recent buzz about the new Apple AirPods Pro, you know how sought after they are. At the start of 2020, it was nearly impossible to get your hands on a pair, as they feature a bunch of improvements, such as noise cancellation and a soft padding to grip better in the ear. 

With the success and growth of their audio and music departments, Apple is rumored to be releasing a pair of over-the-ear-headphones, much like the ones you see by Sony, Beats, and Bose.

Since those companies have such a grasp on the market, I don't imagine Apple's new headphones will be that much different.

Regardless of what your favorite Apple product is, you can definitely be excited for this year's releases. Every year, Apple comes out with something better than their last models, and every year, customers come flocking back to purchase them. While some people may argue that there aren't any major overhauls or updates to their tech, this is only partly true.

In many cases, if you just recently purchased the newest model of their tech, you can afford to skip a year, and wait for the next model to be released before upgrading. For those just getting into Apple products and fanatics alike, it is an exciting time for the tech industry.
