How to Update Android Auto
Android Auto is a great way to get the most out of your Android phone while you're driving. However, like any other Android app, it needs to be updated from time to time in order to keep up with the latest features and bug fixes.
Fortunately, updating Android Auto is a relatively simple process. In most cases, it will update automatically when you connect your phone to your car's infotainment system. However, you can also update it manually by opening the Google Play Store app on your Android device and checking for updates.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to update Android Auto.

Step 1: Connect your phone to your car
The first thing you need to do is connect your Android phone to your car's infotainment system via a USB cable. Once connected, you should see the Android Auto interface on your car's touch screen.
Step 2: Update Android Auto automatically
If you have the "Auto-update apps" setting enabled on your Android device, then Android Auto will update automatically whenever a new version is available for download. To check if this setting is enabled, open the Google Play Store app and go to Settings > Auto-update apps.
If the setting is enabled, you should see a message saying, "Auto-updates are ON". If it's disabled, you'll need to update Android Auto manually (see Step 3).
Step 3: Update Android Auto manually
If you don't have the "Auto-update apps" setting enabled, or if there's a new version of Android Auto available, but it hasn't been downloaded to your device yet, you can update it manually.
To do this, open the Google Play Store app and go to My apps & games > Updates. If there's an update available for Android Auto, it will be listed here. Tap Update to download and install the latest version.
And that's it! Once the update has been installed, you can start using the new features and bug fixes that are included in it. Happy driving!
