Google's Stadia - What To Expect - KEUTEK

With new gaming consoles being released periodically, Google has decided to get a hand in the game. As one would expect from the tech giant, Google will be releasing a cutting edge gaming system on November 19. Stadia is a cloud based gaming platform, so you do not need a physical gaming system, like an Xbox or PlayStation.

Cloud Based

This cloud based platform allows you to play your games across an array of different hardware. This could be your computer, your cellphone, or tablets. This allows you to play your games wherever you are, through whatever medium is in use. There are no games to download and save, and they all update periodically. Periodic updates mean you don't have to worry about not having the most up to date version of your game.

Controllers

Google's Stadia does have standard controllers that you can use for gaming. At launch, these controllers will need to be tethered to whatever device you use with a USB-C cable. If you have Google's Chromecast Ultra, your controller will work wirelessly at launch. Currently Google is optimizing the wireless capability to TV's, and will release either an update or updated controllers for other devices.
